Our company is looking for a Police Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol City business, residential and park areas to ensure security of life and property, observe situations and deter crimes;
- Problem solving : Analyzes information and evaluates results to select the best solution and solve problems;
- Active Listening: Gives full attention when others are speaking; listens to understand, asks questions as appropriate, and does not interrupt;
- Conduct limited drug and alcohol testing;
- Critical Thinking : Comes to well-reasoned conclusions, solutions, and approaches to problems;

- Respond to suspicious activities and answer emergency calls for service;
- Conduct house watches for residents;

- Serves warrants, summonses, subpoenas, civil, and other official papers. Seizes evidence and contraband uncovered in such duties;
- Assumes control at traffic accidents, assists victims, and investigates causes of accidents;
- Responds to all requests for assistance relayed by communications officers;
- Prepares various official reports as required; submits reports to a superior officer.
Requirements:
- Skill in observation and ability to remember details, such as names, faces, incidents, and other relevant details;
- Ability to acquire thorough skills in the use of firearms and other police-related tools and when they should be used;
- Some knowledge of Federal, State, County, and City laws, regulation, ordinances, including domestic violence and juvenile criminal justice laws;
- Ability to obtain all operator licenses, certifications or permits for equipment used such as radar, breathalyzer, and the like;
- Working knowledge of basic computer functions and computerized record-keeping systems;
- Knowledge of police practices, methods, procedures, equipment, and services;
- Be a citizen of the United States of America;
- Serves warrants, summonses, subpoenas, civil, and other official papers. Seizes evidence and contraband uncovered in such duties;
- Assumes control at traffic accidents, assists victims, and investigates causes of accidents;
- Knowledge of computers and related equipment, hardware and software to prepare reports, maintain and research databases;
- Ability to perform duties in a manner that builds trust and legitimacy with the community through the application of procedural justice;
- Patrols assigned zone to maintain visibility and observe and deter possible criminal activity;
- Responds to all requests for assistance relayed by communications officers;
- Knowledge of the specific practices and procedures for assigned unit(s);
- Prepares various official reports as required; submits reports to a superior officer.
