Our company is looking for a Security Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct clientele to intended destination;
  • Communicating in a manner that is open, honest and responsible in all situations;
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property;
  • Assist site personnel in providing proper instructions and directions during emergencies;
  • Perform all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards;
  • Patrol site premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates;
  • Assist the Security Supervisor and Security Director in training new security personnel;
  • Assess and respond professionally to disruptive or deviant behavior accordingly;
  • Assist in transporting ill or injured as required;
  • Pre and post clean up;
  • Provide transportation services;
  • Viewing CCTV monitors and keeping constant surveillance of grounds through the camera system;
  • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security;
  • Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.

Requirements:

  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Must be able to obtain an unarmed sheriffs work card and TAM Card;
  • Must be able to speak and write English;
  • Professional appearance and demeanor;
  • High school diploma (or equivalent combination of education and experience combined);
  • Patrol site premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates;
  • Excellent observation skills;
  • Assist site personnel in providing proper instructions and directions during emergencies;
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office products and be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation;
  • Have exceptional attention to detail;
  • Proven work experience in a security field (if any);
  • Previous security or military experience is preferred; First Responder a plus;
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields.
