Our company is looking for a Assembler to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of products prior to and post machine operation;
  • Will work in other areas of production on the manufacturing floor as needed based on product volumes and priorities;
  • Ready and interpret drawings, sketches, and engineering drawings;
  • Performing rework and inspection on the product;
  • Assembling components that are parts of conveyor belts;
  • Use variety of hand tools;
  • Responsible for staging product by masking and preparing for painting;
  • maintaining a safe, clean working environment at all times;
  • Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and twist for the majority of the work period;
  • Checking mechanical length of cables;
  • assembling shingles on display board;
  • Soldering housings;
  • Prepare finished products for shipment;
  • Conduct quality spot checks as to proper assembly using appropriate identification and gauging equipment;
  • High Attention to detail a must.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year assembly experience;
  • Some experience with assembly preferred;
  • Read, write, speak and understand English;
  • At least 1 year of applied trades training, such as use of blueprints, electrical schematics, etc;
  • Knowledge of cable termination including familiarity with crimping specifications and use of both automated and hand crimping tools;
  • Ready and interpret drawings, sketches, and engineering drawings;
  • Assignments require limited judgment in troubleshooting proven processes;
  • Use variety of hand tools;
  • Willingness to express ideas verbally;
  • 2-5 years manufacturing experience;
  • Basic reading and math skills;
