Fund Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Fund Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist other departments as needed;
- Enter loans into loan system for funding;
- Answer program questions and/or trains dealers on funding/paperwork processes;
- Review incoming loan documents for compliance with company policies and applicable laws;
- Any other duties as assigned;
- Significant opportunity to work on other ad hoc projects with the fund teams;
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly analyses for the Portfolio Management and Fund Operations teams;
- Work closely with IT to leverage and enhance the reporting and analytics tools used for fund and investor reporting;
- Prepare quarterly reporting to investors.
Requirements:
- Experience with Industrial asset class a plus;
- Bachelors’ Degree required, Advanced degree a plus (MBA/MRED);
- Good knowledge of typical lease terms, acquisitions contracts, partnership and joint venture agreements, and related property documents;
- Experience of transacting or managing real estate assets in the key US real estate markets;
- Able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility, whilst respecting the needs for the rigorous financial reporting procedures in place;
- Ability to manage external legal, property, banking, corporate, and development professionals;
- BS in Accounting or Finance required;
- Provide constructive input on improving existing processes;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Real estate industry experience a plus, but not necessary;
- 1-2 years of financial modeling experience required;
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities;
- Experience interacting with corporate data models via MS Excel or other enterprise reporting tools;
- Demonstrated experience working with advanced Excel functions (vlookup, NPV, XIRR, Array Functions, etc.);
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
