OTR Truck Driver Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a OTR Truck Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Take orders for new delivers;
- Record amount and type of cargo being delivered;
- Load and unload trailers and perform lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying freight;
- Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- Maintenance of an acceptable driving record is a condition of employment;
- Must have at least three years verifiable tractor trailer experience, previous experience with flatbed trailers and/or curtain sides a plus;
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, background investigation, and post-offer physical examination;
- Must have a current Class A CDL;
- Work authorization: United States (Required);
- Minimum 21 years of age;
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen;
- Good Verifiable MVR and employment history;
- Out 6 to 10 Days.
