Office Services Clerk Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Office Services Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Applies postage and assembles (if necessary) all outgoing mail;
- Supports the Finance department by performing administrative duties and projects as assigned;
- Performs daily “mail run” to the local post office using the Office Services Company Vehicle;
- Processes office supply returns and prepares invoices for payment;
- Monitors and maintains inventory for all Mail Room/shipping supplies;
- Delivers office supplies and equipment to other interoffice locations;
- Distributes and delivers inter-office mail to the appropriate inter-departmental boxes;
- Researches and resolves all questions/problems related to shipping;
- Reviews and sorts all incoming mail and correspondence received in the Mail Room;
- Perform other related duties as required;
- Orders and maintains office supplies for all of McCormick Place;
- Establishes and maintains neat and accurate shipping files for internal and external shipping records;
- Processes and coordinates external mail services including Fed-Ex, UPS and courier services;
- Administers the FedEx Account.
