Responsibilities:
- Manages and tracks change orders, applications for payment by contractors and other contractual modifications impacting budget and schedule;
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly;
- Minimal local travel will be required for this role;
- Degree in Interior Design from an accredited school;
- Makes independent design decisions from a sound base of knowledge;
- Strong organizational, communication and relationship management skills;
- Experience with multi-family residential projects is highly desirable;
- Conducts and manages construction observation reporting and developing punch lists;
- Manage client expectations, fee estimates, project budgets, and schedules;
- Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams to the benefit of customers;
- Ability to conceptualize, launch and plan the delivery of digital-enabled business change projects;
- Manage, coordinate, and mentor staff/project level employees;
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources;
- Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software, and/or services company and/or large enterprise;
- Performs as Architect or Architect of Record on moderate sized single and multidiscipline projects.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken required;
- Relevant prior professional experience;
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite;
- Demonstrated CADD experience (AutoCAD latest edition);
- NCARB IDP enrollment preferred;
- Familiarity with database systems;
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources;
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, other BIM software, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office;
- Experience with backend development, particularly REST services and real-time multiplayer server technologies;
- Previous experience on healthcare required;
- Ability to conceptualize, launch and plan the delivery of digital-enabled business change projects;
- Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary teams to the benefit of customers;
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Bluebeam Studio and other graphics/design applications a plus;
- Presentation experience, public speaking skills and strong communication abilities;
- 5+ years of technology consulting experience.
