Our company is looking for a Architectural Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of design presentations;
- Support multi-disciplinary team in developing designs, schematic sketches/diagrams, and documentation drawings;
- Prepare presentations for active projects and for marketing or internal research;
- Conduct building documentation and analysis for existing-conditions survey, code or sustainability;
- Manage project digital files and information;
- Prepare design documents in various media and applications;
- Effective teaming within the project team;
- Utilize BIM software as a tool for design drawings;
- Prepare presentations, including graphic design and PowerPoint;
- Consults manufacturers;
- Assist in the streamlining of the architectural design process from conceptual design through overall completions of projects;
- Prepares architectural plans and 3D renderings;
- Working with AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit in studio environment;
- Perform redline changes and revisions.
Requirements:
- Relevant prior professional experience;
- Professional degree in architecture or preservation (for co-op: current pursuit of degree);
- Excellence in design, organization and communications;
- Experience with Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, rendering and modeling applications.
