Central Sterile Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Central Sterile Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Willing to train new Grads from Sterile Processing School;
- Must be detail oriented and capable of consistent accuracy in cleaning, sorting;
- Castle Autoclaves;
- Sonic Cleaner;
- E.T.O;
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques;
- Knowledge of instrumentation;
- Works closely with other departments and all members of the health care team;
- Properly packaging instruments and materials for sterilization;
- Steam Sterilizer;
- Prefer prior experience in Sterile Supply/Processing;
- Knowledge of decontamination of blood born pathogens.
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills preferred;
- Willingness to take direction from multiple sources;
- Ability to exchange information in a factual, objective manner;
- Able to be flexible with regard to task priorities and time schedules;
- Knowledge of the functions of decontamination and sterilization equipment preferred.
