Our company is looking for a Compliance Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to collaborate with Engineers/Designers to ensure products are compliant;
  • Responsible to coordinate with safety agencies to certify new and revised products to applicable standards;
  • Responsible to provide technical support to quotation, design, and manufacture;
  • Champion best-practice solutions for serviceability into current and future server and rack-level designs;
  • Generate precise, accurate troubleshooting processes and optimize existing processes;
  • Actively participate in design and compliance meetings, providing effective input and feedback;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Support the implementation of special projects related to compliance activities as assigned;
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture;
  • Support the company’s DIMP and the associated integrity risk model;
  • Assist in the analysis of leak data and the management of maintenance programs;
  • Regular attendance is considered an essential job function;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Support the company’s PSC pipeline safety inspections including associated preparation and internal auditing of records.

Requirements:

  • Good communications skills for describing technical and compliance findings;
  • BSEE Degree required;
  • Strong program management, time management, prioritization and organizational skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Associates degree in electronics and 3 years technical or compliance experience;
  • Must have experience working with third party safety agencies to coordinate product evaluation, certification and compliance;
  • Proven record of effectively managing hardware safety, servicing and operational expectations;
  • Proven record of effectively managing hardware compliance;
  • Experience and understanding of international regulatory requirements in EMC, energy efficiency and product safety;
  • Experience and understanding of international requirements for EMC, Energy Efficiency and product safety;
  • Excellent knowledge of US, EU and Global standards for EMC performance: EU Low Voltage Directive, EMC Directive and RED;
  • Minimal Working ConditionsInternal and external labs;
  • Excellent organizational, documentation and presentation skills;
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously to determine requirements and propose solutions;
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal direction.
