Our company is looking for a Electrical Drafter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage release of designs via Engineering Change Orders;
- Create wiring diagrams and bills of material for cable assemblies, control panels, and AC distribution panels;
- You may accompany and assist experienced designers on walkdowns at client facilities to gather information for your design project.
Requirements:
- Drafting experience using standard computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation);
- Experience building cables and electrical boxes would be a plus;
- Ability to successfully obtain client security clearance for plant access;
- Proficient in Autocad Electrical;
- Experience with Agile or similar PLM system;
- Associates Degree in a technical area with Computer Aided Design;
- Good communication skills;
- Two year technical degree;
- 2+ years of experience in electrical drafter role;
- Keen eye for detail;
- Ability to visualize in 3D without the aid of the computer;
- Ability to multi-task from project to project;
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the ability to relate various equipment to a technical design;
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans and drawings.
