Refrigeration Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares project proposals and engineering fee estimates;
- Develop project specifications;
- Displays excellent organizational standards, and time management skills;
- Is a firm believer in the benefit of coordinating with other trades including architectural, and other engineering disciplines;
- Can develop project estimates and design within budgetary constraints;
- Is comfortable with Auto CADD and Revit;
- Duties include design, estimating, load analysis, and component recommendations;
- PM duties include subcontractor and supplier relations, scheduling and budget management to meet terms on contracts;
- Assists in proposal, bid development, and installation for refrigeration/HVAC processes for industrial or commercial applications.
Requirements:
- Is a firm believer in the benefit of coordinating with other trades including architectural, and other engineering disciplines;
- Can develop project estimates and design within budgetary constraints;
- Is comfortable with Auto CADD and Revit;
- Develops project specifications;
- Prepares project proposals and engineering fee estimates;
- Displays excellent organizational standards, and time management skills;
- Commercial refrigeration design experience. Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat-transfer, etc;
- BSME or related engineering degree;
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as UL, TUV, etc;
- Experience with SolidWorks (If you have good CAD skills in other software please still apply).
