Our company is looking for a Sr. Process Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct statistical analysis and DOE’s to determine critical processing parameters and optimize them;
  • Develop extrusion processing standards & methods and oversee training to ensure best practices are followed on all production shifts;
  • Analyze, and interpret Wonderware process historical data to correctly focus improvement activities;
  • Delegate project duties within the department or value stream team and understand the execution of those duties;
  • Interacts with drafting group to develop, review, and seal engineering drawings;
  • Analyzes and assists other less experienced engineers with designs as needed;
  • Serves as the lead Engineer or technical expert on a medium to large project. Planning and managing the engineering activities on a project;
  • Actively involved in maintaining the schedule and budget of assigned projects;
  • Conducting broadly defined, relatively complex engineering tasks;
  • Mentors less experienced engineers, designers and drafters;
  • Assists in the development of design guides, guide specifications and design control procedures;
  • Develops a focus on least cost, safe design;
  • Provide training to staff involved in the use or maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation;
  • Lead the programming, testing and implementation of low code automation to repeatable business tasks;
  • Capable of reviewing and approving Designs.

Requirements:

  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience;
  • 5+ years of experience with BS in Engineering;
  • 5-8 years of industry experience with BS in Engineering or 2-5 years of industry experience with a MS in Engineering;
  • Can operate independently with minimal supervision and has a track record of delivering results;
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills;
  • Demonstrated cross functional teamwork;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and drive innovative solutions into processes and products;
  • BS/BA in engineering or equivalent technical discipline;
  • Ability to design the new business process based on new or existing business rules;
  • Candidate must work well in a team environment across functions and sites;
  • BS in Engineering and 5+ years of experience in new product development;
  • Travel of up to 10% of their time;
  • Good ability to work with and communicate objectives and solutions to others;
  • IBM Blueworks Live;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop equipment / fixtures from concept to production.
