Our company is looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input for the development of functional layouts to minimize space and material transit distance;
  • Optimize processes from inception through startup;
  • Develop and revise SOPs, improve standard work for all positions, time studies, employee utilization and lean initiatives;
  • Audit production line process and improve production rates, work flow and quality;
  • Serve as main point of contact for capacity, process improvements tasks, and standard time inquiries;
  • Identify inconsistencies and opportunities to scale processes across the growing distribution network;
  • Implement and sustain Lean Management System at the DC;
  • Partner with DC personnel for process optimization;
  • Utilize simulation software to analyze and /or improve work systems;
  • Utilize lean standards to drive a culture of Continuous Improvement;
  • Manage engineering function for assigned projects and activities including: processes, work standards, equipment and facilities;
  • Support DC KPIs including: service, quality, cost and safety;
  • Develop lessons learned and best practice systems, policies and procedures to leverage across multiple areas within the business;
  • Assist Project Management with the development of project scope and schedule for all process related work;
  • Create and manage waste reduction objectives at the DC.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written skills are required;
  • Demonstrated experience working with equipment vendors to provide optimum solutions to equipment design that will meet or exceed client expectations;
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in process engineering design;
  • B.S or M.S. in Chemical Engineering;
  • Demonstrated understanding of interactions between Process design with MEP design efforts;
  • SAP knowledge and understanding;
  • Capable of coordinating the process design with the piping model;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate to site personnel and key stakeholders;
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Knowledge of system design, cGMPs, and applicable codes;
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical process equipment materials including polymers;
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365;
  • 10+ years of process engineering experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field;
  • 3+ years relevant business experience, Manufacturing in a plant/ Distribution Center preferred.
