Water/Wastewater Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performing project management, cost estimation and proposal development including collaborating with other CONSOR teams;
- Developing project proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets;
- Growing and enhancing our capabilities to complete W/WW projects;
- Working with construction teams for cost estimation and project execution;
- Analyzes technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects;
- Working with other CONSOR offices across the US;
- Occasional travel within the US. Less than 15% overnight travel;
- Actively selecting, hiring and managing new technical resources as we grow;
- Correspond with clients on project activities, assist with providing quality client services, and support business development opportunities;
- Mentor entry and mid-level staff and conduct performance reviews for direct reports;
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and work progress and prepare financial status reports;
- Communicate project details and required actions to team members and stakeholders for successful project execution;
- Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects of medium to large scale and moderate complexity;
- Prepare applications for project plan approvals, regulatory permits, and funding programs and implement associated approval conditions;
- Develop project proposals, work plans, baseline budgets, and schedules for review and approval by project principal and division manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Science in Construction Science or related curriculum from an accredited University preferred;
- Willing to travel;
- 5-10 years’ experience in Water / Wastewater.
