Water/Wastewater Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assuring the technical quality of deliverables;
- Performing engineering, design, cost estimation and proposal development including collaborating with other CONSOR teams;
- Occasional travel within the US. Less than 15% overnight travel;
- Working with other CONSOR offices across the US;
- Working with construction teams for cost estimation and project execution;
- Assisting in the development of project proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets;
- Responsible for assuring accuracy of all documents/reports, data, information, and calculations;
- Perform computer modeling/analysis for water/wastewater systems;
- Attend meetings with municipal engineers and clients as needed;
- Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, estimates, and schedules.
Requirements:
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in teams and independently with multiple priorities;
- BS in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME);
- A reputation of integrity, intelligence, and the ability to exercise good judgment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work and communicate successfully in a team environment;
- Experience working on municipal and public sector projects (state, county, city and federal);
- Proven record producing quality work products and providing excellent client service;
- Extensive pump station and/ or lift station experience;
- P.E. License Required;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D;
- Five (5) + years of project management experience preferred;
- 8+ years of related water/wastewater experience;
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering;
- Minimum of three (3)+ years relevant civil engineering experience.
