Sr. Experience Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Experience Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Strategy, Consumer Insights, Content & Copy, Visual Design and Technology;
- Champions the Experience Design craft within Publicis Sapient;
- Leads team meetings and client reviews;
- Accountable for estimation and scope of UX activities and deliverables;
- Creates UX strategy, develops customer scenarios, conducts journey mapping and collaborates on persona development;
- Collaborates with Consumer Insights, and clients to apply data and insights to UX design decisions;
- Mentor team members;
- Ideates, sketches, and prototypes for desktop, tablet and mobile devices;
- Apply user experience best practices to prototype designs;
- Responsible for interaction design, task flow, behavior, and navigation design.
Requirements:
- Financial industry, digital agency, or similar experience preferred;
- Expert in designing for responsive web and mobile apps;
- Experience as lead or senior designer;
- 2+ years of work experience as lead/senior designer;
- Expert in multi-channel industry standards and best practices;
- Work co-located with other designers and partners. (Not remote.);
- Expert with Sketch and InVision;
- Project management experience;
- Expert in user-centered design methodologies and rapid ideation processes like Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Dual-Track Agile;
- 4 or more years of design experience with a dazzling portfolio of designs;
- Expert with Adobe products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects);
- Expert with InVision, Sketch, and Axure;
- 6+ years of design experience with a dazzling portfolio of designs;
- Expert in user-centered design methodologies and rapid ideation processes like Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Fail-Fast;
- Project Management experience preferred.
