Our company is looking for a Hotel Housekeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness;
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis;
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • replace laundry bags and slips;
  • Cleans the guest room bathroom;
  • Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests;
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy;
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment;
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks;
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces such as windows;
  • Steaming and cleaning draperies, and washing blinds;
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping floors;
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, tidying up rooms;
  • Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry;
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies.

Requirements:

  • Able to cover full time 8 hours shift (five days per week);
  • Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs);
  • physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend;
  • Have at less 6 months of experience working in housekeeping-Hotel;
  • Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment;
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is required;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred;
  • Work with little or no supervision;
  • Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals;
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;
  • Must have schedule flexibility for both shifts, weekends and holidays;
  • Assisting guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner;
  • Maintain and promote excellence in hospitality and customer service always;
  • Able to stand and walk entire shift.
