Our company is looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Stocking and maintaining Housekeeping cart;
  • Greeting guests in hallways in a pleasant and friendly manner;
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing;
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Perform guest turn down service, as needed;
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis;
  • Assist guests when necessary;
  • Keep linen room stocked;
  • Replacing dirty linens and terry with clean items;
  • All housekeepers must report to work in assigned uniform as deemed by the facility;
  • All housekeepers must report problems, concerns, and maintenance issues to the Supervisor;
  • All housekeepers must act in a courteous, professional, and appropriate manner at all times;
  • Proper techniques for sweeping and mopping floors;
  • Proper techniques for sanitizing and disinfecting restrooms & restocking supplies;
  • Making beds and folding terry.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to stand during entire shift;
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times;
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings;
  • Maintain guest privacy;
  • Assist with guest issues, being professional and maintaining a hospitable caring attitude;
  • Follow cleaning procedures in the company systematic fashion;
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently;
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds;
  • Ability to make decisions and follow established policies and procedures;
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals;
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time;
  • Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests;
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred.
