Our company is looking for a Room Attendant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Report missing items such as: robes, cotton boxes, blotters to the office;
  • Perform guest turn down service, as needed;
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis;
  • Performing additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs;
  • Cleaning and resetting guest bedroom and bathroom areas;
  • Ability to perform all tasks of the Room, House, and Public area Attendants;
  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs + on a regular and continuous basis;
  • Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets;
  • Report any room deficiencies (light bulbs, broken items etc );
  • Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to Management;
  • Greeting guests in hallways in a pleasant and friendly manner;
  • Replenishing amenities and supplies in assigned guestrooms;
  • Stocking and maintaining Housekeeping cart;
  • Empties wastebaskets; empties and cleans ashtrays.

Requirements:

  • Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled;
  • Ability to stand during entire shift;
  • Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests;
  • Must be warm, friendly and hospitable;
  • Know how to go beyond what is required to make guests stay excellent;
  • Must be able to work well with other Department team members;
  • Associate must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day consecutively;
  • Nice attitude;
  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs + on a regular and continuous basis;
  • Be efficient working under high-pressure situations;
  • Requires good communication skills;
  • The ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs.);
  • Must appear professional and ready to work at beginning of shift;
  • Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers, to handle or feel;
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
