Our company is looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Sterilize various tools and equipment;
  • Move reasonably small furniture as necessary;
  • Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment;
  • Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on job;
  • Provides exceptional guest service and respond s promptly to guests’ inquiries and co ncerns;
  • In charge of vacuuming equipment; vacuum and clean carpets and perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed;
  • Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed;
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products;
  • Replaces and provides all linens as necessary in accordance with standards including making beds;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects;
  • May assist with other duties as assigned;
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing;
  • Regularly cleaning restrooms, common areas, floors (using a mop/broom/vacuum);
  • Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time;
  • Physically able to do 8 hour shifts of manual work and lift items up to 25 lbs;
  • Organized and able to follow a schedule;
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education;
  • Ability to follow verbal directions;
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism;
  • Completes job related tasks assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor & Maintenance Director;
  • Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas;
  • Must have reliable transportation;
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States;
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details and be aware of safety;
  • Report directly to Housekeeping Supervisor with strong leadership skills.
