Infrastructure Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to team members and superiors;
- Naturally drive visibility into the communication channel from engineers to executives;
- Assures project legal documents are completed and signed;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project 2010 or current version;
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully;
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations;
- Deliver the governance and framework developed for data center or Cloud migrations;
- Able to review MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) drawings and provide feedback;
- Designs, configures, validates and maintains reports/dashboards within the Apptio application;
- Maintain an open line of communication with all the stake holders in a project;
- Resolves problem situations in a professional manner;
- Oversee the development of documentation writing and gathering in accordance with policy and SOX auditing compliance;
- Demonstrate consistent exercise of independent judgment;
- Recommend new solutions and projects in alignment with strategic plans and business requirements;
- Able to adjust quickly to change and manage through it.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience managing data center moves;
- 2+ years of experience managing domain migration projects;
- 3-5 years using Apptio Apptio TBM Unified Model (ATUM) Taxonomy, Cost modeling for IT;
- Experience with implementing EHRs;
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting the current versions of the Windows Desktop Operating Systems;
- Basic programming skills, e.g. HTML, SQL;
- Fantastic communication and presentation skills;
- Working knowledge of the following technologies;
- Advanced analytical and big data analysis data mapping skills, analyzation & remediation of financial fallout;
- Experience with consulting in an advisory role;
- 5-7 years IT Financial Analyst (Technology Financial Accounting, budgeting, forecasting, Reporting, Accounting);
- 3 or more years of experience with troubleshooting and providing remote support;
- Problem solving skills;
- BS in Business, Finance, Technology or comparable field of study and a minimum of 5 years of related experience;
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
