Program Supervisor Job Description

Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. To be a Program Supervisor typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.

Our company is looking for a Program Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the development of the Individual Child and Family Plans;
  • Provide ongoing training and staff development;
  • Provide a minimum of one hour of supervision each week per staff;
  • Ensure that all forms are signed and submitted within designated time frames;
  • Ensure accuracy of timeliness of Plan of Care and all other documents requiring Supervisor’s signature and/or approval;
  • Maintain a staffing schedule of Facilitators, Family Specialists, and Parent Partners;
  • Ability, speed, and accuracy to handle paperwork expeditiously;
  • Requires positive attitude and good interpersonal skills;
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions;
  • Ability to provide reliable transportation as required by nature of position;
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment;
  • Requires good organizational skills, prioritization of task/duties;
  • Successful candidate must have a satisfactory post-offer Medical Review and must pass a pre-employment criminal background check;
  • Ability to effectively supervise, demonstrate good judgment and communicate well, especially with clients, families, physicians and field staff;

Requirements:

  • Valid CA driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance;
  • Completion of CPR/First Aid certification within the first thirty (30) days of employment;
  • Associate’s Degree with four (4) years’ experience;
  • Bachelor’s Degree with three (3) years’ experience;
  • All candidates must obtain an LCADC or CAC-AD w/ Supervisory Letter through the DHMH;
  • Ability to effectively supervise, demonstrate good judgment and communicate well, especially with clients, families, physicians and field staff;
  • Requires positive attitude and good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability, speed, and accuracy to handle paperwork expeditiously;

  • Minimum of one-year management experience or supervisory experience over staff who provide direct behavioral health services.
