The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. Determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods. Being a Senior Cost Accountant requires a bachelor’s degree. Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly. In addition, Senior Cost Accountant may report to an executive or a manager. Working as a Senior Cost Accountant typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

Our company is looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Occasionally required to stand and walk;

Requirements:

  • 5+ years proven cost accounting experience with an industrial manufacturing organization;
  • Strong communication skills; desire to be promoted;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting , Master’s Degree preferred;
  • Professional certifications desirable; CPA, CMA, etc.
