Our company is looking for a Senior Manager, International Tax to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and convey to clients information regarding U.S. technical developments as well as their application to federal and international tax issues;
  • Research, write and review client tax advice relating to U.S. international tax matters;
  • Serve as a key team member to provide planning advice on the U.S. cross border aspects of investment fund and transactional based work;
  • Advise clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities arising from inbound and outbound cross-border investing and trading activities;
  • Oversee tax returns for US Income forms 1118/5471/8858 with a focus on international areas;
  • Oversee various tax calculations (FDII/BEAT/GILTI/986-988/Subpart F/Fin48);
  • Support audits as needed and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of international aspects of tax compliance and other quantitative oriented international tax matters;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business and build relationships with client teams;
  • Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills;
  • Manage the global co-sourced or outsourced compliance engagements;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required;
  • Support tax process documentation and SOX controls;
  • Maintain global transfer pricing policies, include preparing and reviewing transfer pricing calculations, agreements and documentation;
  • Provide strategic support on the international tax aspects of tax examinations and inquiries by the IRS and foreign tax authorities;
  • Specific knowledge of US international tax rules including but not limited to GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, FDII, and BEAT;
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations relating to international operations for US consolidated and local statutory financials;
  • 8-10 + years of experience in US international tax with aspects of US federal compliance is preferred;
  • Work with treasury to reconcile intercompany accounts and forecast intercompany cash movements;
  • Ability to work in a team environment required;
  • Work with regional tax and finance teams as needed on various projects;
  • Specific knowledge of US tax M&A and reorganization rules.
