Sr. Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project charter with project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;
- Manage large scope projects within programs and standalone projects;
- Develop and implement operations and strategies to improve execution and provide additional value;
- Update the order and change requests.Create room diagrams if needed;
- Document and record project progression throughout the project lifecycle;
- Assists with the development and management of the project business plan in order to maximize financial success;
- Draft documents describing products, services, components or application;
- Support the development of value-added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost;
- Create partnerships and take responsibility for building effective and high performing teams;
- Reports on project progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise;
- Identifies trends and translates analytical reports into management presentations, and provides guidance to resolve issues;
- Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships;
- Prepare and/or review project contracts;
- Demonstrates use of a structured iterative methodologies, manages scope changes and communicates the impacts, and secures approval when needed;
- Pro-actively aims to achieve personal and team utilization targets.
Requirements:
- Proven project management, leadership, and communication skills at all levels of an organization (written & verbal);
- Proven leadership and management skills;
- International teamwork or global functional experience is preferred;
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner;
- Experience with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.) is a bonus;
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience;
- Management qualification or equivalent years of experience;
- Ability and desire to work as part of a team;
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project);
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you;
- 7+ years of project or construction management experience;
- Knowledge of financial processes;
- Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline;
- Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
