Our company is looking for a Training Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members across the organization to develop training content;
- Work with department Training Power Users to manage training;
- Traveling to various PPNorCal centers is required on a weekly basis;
- May develop training systems and job aids to meet the unique needs of each health center or trainee;
- Deliver one-on-one on-site training with staff at various health centers; provide feedback on progress to both employee and supervisor;
- Deliver PPNorCal didactic training program to train a variety of support staff across the affiliate. Topics include;
- Maintain the company Learning Management System (LMS) content and training records, to include the management of trainees, courses, and assessments;
- Track and manage training event attendance;
- Deliver regularly scheduled live training sessions for large and small groups of Everlaw users;
- Assume ownership of LMS technical issues and provide technical assistance to users;
- Collaborate with Training team to individualize training plans based on analysis and needs assessment of the health center or trainee;
- Keep all existing training materials up to date to reflect the latest features and information;
- Process data changes on new hire information;
- Provide project support for various HR initiatives such as preparing and distributing training material on site locations as needed;
- Partner with Hiring Managers, Recruiters and Market HR Managers.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable automobile transportation and a valid California Driver’s License and insurance;
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently;
- Experienced in building and writing clear and effective training content;
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, JavaScript and web technologies across different platforms;
- Trained and excel in various PPNorCal services. Experience in Front and Back Office is required; experience in abortion services highly desired;
- Happy to work in a fast growth, hard working environment;
- Able to type a minimum 50 wpm;
- Empathy and patience with new learners, balanced with firmness where required;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Extensive knowledge of training and educational methods and techniques and advanced adult education principles and practices;
- Experience creating product documentation is a plus;
- Experience training business users on software (preferably SaaS);
- Advance proficiency using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, outlook, etc.).
