Customer Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Customer Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Render technical on-site and phone assistance to customers;
- Respond to emergency calls at customer’s request;
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of time cards, expense reports, etc;
- Provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external customers;
- Perform general and preventive maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply systems;
- Keep current on Safety Field Change Notices and Service Tips;
- Strive to provide all customers a ‘first time fix’ for their equipment.
Requirements:
- Experience 2-4 years of experience in a similar position, with customer interaction and exposure;
- Proficiency in Spanish is desirable;
- An ‘everready’ approach to problem solving – you will enjoy ‘rolling up your sleeves’ and getting involved;
- A desire to learn and progress through our extensive product range and service offering;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
