Our company is looking for a Data Management Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Improves team documentation and project planning to facilitate intra-team cross training and provide greater transparency to the overall organization;
- Supports and completes stewardship and management of data assets including data quality, tagging, catalog population, requirements intake, etc;
- Respond to RFIs from customers- aid in establishing new dataflow and correct issues;
- Monitor dataflow to verify data is ingested into the appropriate repository;
- Ensure SIGINT data is disseminated to the appropriate customer in the timeframe and format required;
- Stay abreast of current and future RC-135 capabilities, to include understanding data paths, formats, and customers;
- Coordinate and manage data management/normalization priorities throughout the 55 OG;
- Ability to push all data sets off the aircraft in a useable format;
- Routine communication and coordination with DMG staff and management to ensure overall project object(s) are satisfied;
- Ability to visually monitor and manipulate all data flows, intra and post mission;
- Ability to dynamically adjust the data output to meet customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Understanding of Data Management tools Tableau, Excel, SQL, ETL;
- 3+ years experience in Data Management;
- Ability to train and educate external team members;
- Understanding and experience in Data Governance;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Data Analytics/IT Program Management;
- Understanding of database skills, file architecture, programming language (SQL, HTML, Java, Linux);
- Must be able to maintain clear and concise documentation of work;
- Strong verbal and written skills combined with proficiency with related software tools such as MS Office (eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access);
- 15 years experience conducting data validation and verification on the St. Louis FUSRAP program;
- Must have advanced knowledge on TechSIGINT, and MCS/QRC architecture/life cycles;
- Familiarity with data outputs, data flows, and their associated repositories;
- At least 8 years of RC-135 experience;
- Ability to employ multiple radiochemical, non-radiochemical techniques, validation/verification methodologies on environmental samples;
- TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
