Our company is looking for a Infrastructure Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Highly self-motivated and directed;
  • Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives;
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or another technology-related field;
  • Defines, documents, and understands existing business processes and procedures;
  • Availability for occasional weekend and late evening work;

  • Provide high level expertise with the Enterprise Business Systems technology offering;
  • Works with business lines to implement new procedure to maximize efficiencies with new or existing systems;
  • Preferred – Certifications focused towards Microsoft Office 365, Zendesk, Purecloud, and ITIL Foundation;
  • Administer and resolve applications issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis;
  • 4 or more years experience with medium to high level administration of Office 365;
  • Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts of engineering and customer support departments;
  • Triage and support escalation for the local desktop team;
  • Design, monitor, maintain, and support the storage and server systems up to and including the OS level;
  • Work with both your peers in IT, and your DEV team customers to deliver the optimum hardware configuration for a given set of requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience;
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware;
  • Consider best security practices throughout all aspects of the infrastructure;
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery principles;
  • Available to work off-hours to perform maintenance or in case of emergencies;
  • Work independently and as part of a team to support a global organization on incidents, support requests, projects, and other initiatives;
  • Good understanding of best practice in Data Center operations and support;
  • Good general knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat);
  • Effective time management and organizational skills;
  • Learn from and educate your fellow team members;
  • Familiar with ITIL practices and procedures;
  • Experience working in a multi-tenant environment;
  • Ability to excel in a time sensitive, fast paced, 24/7 environment;
  • Great knowledge of enterprise class storage and compute systems – Dell, HP, NetApp, etc;
  • General Windows infrastructure administration including Windows Server 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, and 2016.
