Our company is looking for a JDE Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis and creation of ad-hoc queries/reports;
  • Performs/coordinates system maintenance on JD Edwards related activities, including regularly scheduled jobs;
  • Work with Business Systems Analysts and business users to provide detailed system information;
  • Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions;
  • Learn, understand and support internal JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system;
  • Monitor ERP system health, administer maintenance and perform corrective measures on a daily basis;
  • Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions;
  • Provide day-to-day coaching and mentoring on troubleshooting techniques and technical inquiries to team members within the Development department;
  • Coach others in operational software development excellence;
  • Guide development teams through development life cycles to ensure project success within expected scope, budget and timeline;
  • Oversee software development to ensure quality standards are being met;
  • Executes preparation and installation solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming;
  • Support fixing applications through SIT, UAT, and post project implementation;
  • Develop solutions and ensure completion, practices, and delivery of documentation follows standards;
  • Manages large project design and solution development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experiences with a major JDE implementation or upgrade project;
  • Ability to successfully work with all levels of personnel, including management;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively;
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards Manufacturing and Distribution applications including functionality and supporting software configurations;
  • Sound work ethic and commitment to the company;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment;
  • Proven ability to work independently and within established deadlines;
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration or Management Information Systems;
  • 3+ years of JD Edwards software development experience with versions 9.0 or higher;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Excellent PC skills including but not limited to Excel and Word Skills;
  • Attention to detail with higher-level problem-solving skills including situation assessment, analysis of work flows, and root cause analysis.
