ETL Informatica Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a ETL Informatica Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Leading requirements discussions;
- Reporting project progress to team leadership;
- Possible leadership of offshore team members;
- Planning and designing Infomatica ETL Code to move data from target to source;
- Formulate business reporting needs with enterprise/technical domain architect and other staff members;
- Authorized to work in the United States;
- Hands on experience with data warehouse, ETL, SQL data load scripts and SQL data loader;
- Capable of ensuring the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis;
- Design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs and consistent with the architectural vision;
- Experience in UNIX environment including development, execution, and scheduling of UNIX shell scripts;
- Self-starter. Ability to take initiative and ownership;
- Experience with database design and modeling tool like ERWIN or others;
- Development and implementation using Informatica Developer Toolkit, Creation and maintenance of PowerCenter mappings, workflows, source, and targets;
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum;
- Work with various source data formats such as Oracle, MS Access, MS Excel, and ASCII text files to extract relevant data.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience developing with Informatica PowerCenter;
- Minimum three years of development experience with Informatica ETL tool;
- 3+ years’ experience in data warehousing and business intelligence;
- Must be a self-starter and able to lead teammates as needed;
- 2+ years’ healthcare data experience;
- Driven by a fast-paced, energetic, results-oriented environment;
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills;
- Experience in documenting design specifications and other related documents;
- Powershell script knowledge is preferred;
- Self-driven;
- Work with various source data formats such as Oracle, MS Access, MS Excel, and ASCII text files to extract relevant data;
- Design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs and consistent with the architectural vision;
- Deadline and closure oriented;
- Formulate business reporting needs with enterprise/technical domain architect and other staff members;
