Our company is looking for a Pega Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate delivery of software application;
- Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintain and tests software applications that support business units;
- Provide innovative solutions to problems and drive the design/development of components;
- Agile experience required;
- Communicate with technical partners and come up with solutions;
- Effectively conveys message in both written and verbal development discussions;
- Participates in the Elaboration/Design phase and contribute to the documentation as required by project methodology;
- Interfaces with the LBA/BA to address the configuration associated with the Use Cases and Requirements;
- Configures PRPC in construction phase including integrations between systems and development of automated activities;
- Contributes to the design of the application typically focused on specific automation or integration activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Technical field;
- Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers;
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles;
- Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor;
- May assist and help train lower level developers;
- 1+ years experience in Agile Scrum methodology;
- BPM Technology;
- Strong understanding of key business elements;
- Experience in the insurance/annuity industry;
- Familiarity with omni-channel deployment using chat, social, mobile and co-browse functionality;
- Enforce best practices in Pega architecture/design/coding;
- Hands on experience in Pega 7.x development and development of web services in support of Pega;
- Self-motivated team player who excels in a collaborative environment;
- In-depth understanding of Pega, with 3+ years of experience using Pega;
- Proficient in user interface controls and rule types like Harness, Sections, Flow actions, HTML and features for screens design.
