QA TEST Lead Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a QA TEST Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain written records of defects and bugs that are discovered during testing;
- May perform other duties as assigned;
- Act as main point of contact for the development team(s) to inform of defects and bugs (problems) that require resolution;
- Develop and recommend solutions to fix any problems discovered during testing;
- Write and execute test scripts for software and systems to detect faults;
- Manage outside contract QA testers;
- Supervise other QA team members;
- Analyze any defects and bugs to identify what is causing them;
- Track the success of the re-applied solutions;
- working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle;
- Responsible for maintaining up to date software and system documentation.
Requirements:
- Understand and use various test design techniques;
- At least 5 years of experience in testing;
- Hands on experience in QC;
- Agile experience Database (Teradata, Oracle), Unix (Autosys), Facilitate Structured Meetings;
- E2E test coordination experience.
