Research Data Specialist I Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Research Data Specialist I to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze information to support development and evaluation of policies and programs, and measure the past and potential impact of policy decisions;
- Serve as a Department representative on policy at both internal and external events, meetings, and workgroups;
- Interpret and summarize complex data from federal, state and local governments, and other administrative data sources;
- Conducting custom research projects to provide data driven recommendations that align with CalSTRS organizational culture;
- Providing subject matter and research practice expertise to clients;
- Performing advanced statistical analysis to validate and model member and employee data.
Requirements:
- Describe your ability and experience in using data to work with entities or service providers to inform policy development or reform;
- Describe your experience in service delivery related to healthcare or a social services related field;
- Describe your experience and ability in complex analysis and technical research;
- Describe your experience in quality assurance and/or risk management.
