Senior Programmer Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Web Service development experience (REST/JSON) using Spring Boot Framework;
- IDE tools Eclipse, IntelliJ;
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new code to meet the Business needs of the stories and features;
- JavaScript (JQuery/Angular JS);
- Experience in developing and implementing a Web-Based Applications;
- Consults with client to prototype, refine, debug, test, and implement programs to meet current and future needs; assists with client training;
- Provides production problem resolution and on call support;
- Meet with system end users to discuss changes or improvements to software applications;
- Prepares project manuals and improvement authorizations;
- Writes, debugs, compiles, tests and installs program modifications and new programs or modules;
- Defines and documents client’s problems and areas for improvement, alternative solutions, and the most cost beneficial recommendations;
- Maintain existing batch and on-line software applications;
- Data Mapping of staging and reporting, system to system interface development;
- Perform other duties, as needed in support of financial reporting solutions;
- Working with Oracle App DBAs to ensure Configuration, development, patching/upgrades, and customizations of the OFSAA platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize;
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Systems or related field with at least two (2) years of experience in the field;
- SQL Developer or Toad experience;
- Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable;
- Willingness and aptitude for continuous improvement;
- 5 + years Database experience with Oracle, SQL Server or DB2;
- 3+ years of .NET;
- Travel/relocation may be required;
- ETL, PL/SQL programming experience;
- Do the right thing attitude while being a strong team player;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, focus on customer service;
- 5+ years of IT application development and implementation experience;
- Ability to work independently and multi task within a collaborative work environment;
- Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) experience.
