Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute testing activities for data warehouse project;
- Validate data quality;
- Support new features post-release including bug fixing and operations support;
- Collaborate with QA manager and project teams to develop, implement and improve innovative QA capabilities, approaches and services;
- Provide input on go/no-go decisions for production releases;
- Participate in requirements gathering working closely with product subject matter experts;
- Partner with solution analysts and project managers to ensure requirements are documented, understood, testable and accurately tested;
- Perform risk assessments;
- Perform quality review of project deliverables and make recommendations for quality, completeness, compliance, and accuracy;
- Produce written status reports;
- Assess the project schedule, including evaluating the ability of the team to meet the schedule;
- Provide support to the Program/Project Manager to execute a project by providing quality management services in support of the IT project(s);
- Independent review and assessment of project deliverables produced by the project;
- Evaluate impacts to external stakeholders and interfacing systems;
- Review, submit, and track NTT DATA deliverables.
Requirements:
- Experience in Test Automation – Java, Groovy, and Cucumber;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Senior Quality Assurance Analyst;
- Experience in working with Web services using SOAP UI, and Postman;
- 4+ years QA experience in an IT environment;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with AGILE SCRUM methodologies;
- Experience working with third party development teams and offshore testing organizations;
- May require local travel;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or any other Scientific or Technical discipline;
- This position requires a “face to face” interview, our client will NOT hire based on a Skype interview;
- Experience with agile SDLCs;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with IT projects specifically related to public sector contracting, preferably State government;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT project environment that includes requirements, design, testing, implementation;
- Experience with testing tools including automation and performance/load testing;
- Experience with data analysis and testing, relational data models, TSQL, and data regression on large relational databases;
- Experience in the financial industry and related application development.
