Software Quality Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Software Quality Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual tests and track results;
- Communicate with team members regarding defects and assist with reproduction and diagnosis;
- Includes opportunities for learning to develop automated tests;
- Document test cases and steps to ensure reproducibility;
- Advocate for users by providing feedback on user experience;
- Transform business requirements and user stories into test plans;
- Collaborate with Product and Software Engineering teams to deliver stable software products;
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our products and their expected behavior.
Requirements:
- Development experience is a plus;
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in software testing or troubleshooting is required;
- Testing experience in SaaS environment is a plus;
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills are required;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required;
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies preferred;
- Experience with writing automated tests with Selenium is a plus.
