Software Test Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Software Test Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- identify existing or potential issues;
- Fulfill end-user requirements;
- Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet;
- Work closely with the Projects Group to replicate customer issues and application use cases;
- business requirements and systems goals;
- Manage all aspects of User Acceptance Testing;
- Participate in business requirements documentation reviews to extract test scenarios;
- Conduct test entry reviews and record and document test results.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a consultant/client environment is desired;
- Presentation skills to regularly present test results;
- Experience testing web applications desired;
- Ability to manipulate and analyze data using Microsoft Access, Excel, or other tools;
- Basic understanding of Python, C#, HTML, ASP.NET, SQL and JavaScript desired;
- Ability to specify, design, write and execute test cases based on business requirements;
- Experience using formal task and ticketing applications such as Atlassian JIRA or Bugzilla desired;
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to work tactfully with a team of software developers and domain experts;
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience;
- Ability to professionally interact with customers and team members to solve problems;
- Microsoft SQL Server (Required 3 Years);
- Query database to validate test results (Required 3 Years);
- Ability to communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. (Required 3 Years);
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio (Highly Desired 1 Years);
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps (Highly Desired 2 Years).
