Solution Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Solution Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison with other departments in the company to understand technical expertise for supporting the Sales Team;
- Enter time and expenses into the PSA as activities, service tickets, or project tickets in a timely fashion;
- Assist with sales projects and provide cross functional assistance to other departments when needed;
- Plan and modify product configurations and quotes to meet client needs with the ability to convey those requirements to the Sales team;
- Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy;
- Consult with technical resources on the Inside and Outside Sales Teams and lead engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements;
- Develop Proof of Concepts;
- Collaborate with Corsica Technologies Sales team members to understand client requirements by providing pre-sales technical assessments;
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to clientneeds;
- Review IT publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry;
- Evaluate products and solutions for prospects and client needs;
- Understand processes in the PSA by completing assigned training materials and blueprints.
