Sr. Solutions Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Create and/or improve implementation templates, training and presentations;
- Provide Coupa platform demonstrations and various trainings;
- Engage customers in enlightened business need discussions versus feature/function basics;
- Lead all aspects of implementation and complete all Coupa configuration components (from Coupa system setup to supplier enablement’s);
- Serve as a change agent to create a more collaborative and information sharing culture within the division;
- Provide strategic direction commensurate with business goals and objectives;
- Develop Pursuit Solutions, define Service Delivery CONOPS, and assist in strategic proposal development and reviews;
- Coordinate technology activities in order to maximize competitive positioning and advantage, and to develop new and emerging capabilities;
- Ensure proposed solutions properly align with customer cost objectives and price to win objectives;
- Analyze industry technology and innovation direction and recommend investments to develop Solutions and Service Offerings;
- Take lead on new and up coming retail technologies by staying up to date with the industry, partners and internal solutions;
- Help define, architect and deliver solutions that optimize business growth and customer satisfaction;
- Validate that the software, hardware and services offering aligns with the client’s objectives;
- Jointly create, manage and execute account opportunity close plans side by side with the Account Team;
- An active participant at customer and internal meetings, as necessary.
Requirements:
- 15 years’ experience with minimum of 10 years in the information technology arena with current in-depth knowledge of applicable Federal Agencies;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Must have shown significant career growth as part of prior experience;
- Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations are required;
- This is a remote position;
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent;
- Must have at least 3 years of direct infrastructure, system, application and/or other solution architecture experience;
- Strongly prefer a background in both Contract Lifecycle Management, SaaS and Global Compliance;
- Strong experience in solution design principles and practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles;
- Familiarity with front-end development, microservices, and cloud computing is required;
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technical integrations, technologies, and processing environments, including cloud and SaaS technologies;
- Strongly prefer a background in both eInvoicing and Global Compliance;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred;
- Travel up to 50%
