Our company is looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support validation and verification activities such as creating and executing protocols as well as drafting reports;
- Ensure company success by leading small teams across multiple projects;
- Perform design control functions to ensure compliance with FDA and ISO guidance documents;
- Keep up to date with state-of-the-art current analog and digital electrical technology;
- Share your expertise/technical knowledge and advise others on electrical engineering technologies and circuit design;
- Perform research as required to define, specify, and develop products;
- Support other functional teams such as Software, Firmware, and QA;
- Lead team to develop product documentation;
- Develop requirements and specifications for electrical components, PCBs and electrical systems;
- Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions;
- Oversee product development from concept through manufacturing and release;
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop new products to meet these needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working with Analog Data acquisition and signal conditioning techniques;
- English language competency and effective communication skills;
- As such, the successful candidate shall be able to articulate leadership capabilities in a team based environment;
- Must be a hands-on builder, able to bring electrical designs from concept, to schematic, to layout and to working prototypes debugged on the bench;
- Autonomous in taking initiative and completing projects;
- BSEE or MSEE with 10+ years of related work experience;
- Experience with cabling and interconnectivity;
- Familiarity with Verilog using Intel components and software such as Quartus;
- Hands-on Experience and knowledge on system requirement and configuration management;
- Organized and detail oriented;
- BS/MS Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience in high-speed digital design, timing analysis, controlled impedance, worst-case analysis;
- Basic knowledge in schematic design using OrCad and layout using PADS or Allegro;
- Understanding of UL requirements for Class 2 medical devices.
