Our company is looking for a Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cable Schedules;
- AC/DC schematics;
- Connection Diagrams;
- Grounding Analysis and Design;
- Developing control system layouts;
- One line and three line diagrams;
- DC power distribution design;
- Developing protective relay settings and calculations;
- Supporting projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning;
- Managing and reviewing engineering work performed by peers;
- Bill of Materials;
- Panel Layouts;
- Participate in internal electrical reviews of electrical components, equipment and systems;
- Works as a team member with other Engineers, Designers, and production personnel on ad hoc projects;
- Works with Engineers to investigate and test vendors’ products.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency with MS Office applications;
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines;
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail;
- Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction;
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training;
- Related engineering internship or co-op work experience;
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models;
- A BSEE from an ABET-accredited program is required and an emphasis in power systems preferred;
