Our company is looking for a Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Cable Schedules;
  • AC/DC schematics;
  • Connection Diagrams;
  • Grounding Analysis and Design;
  • Developing control system layouts;
  • One line and three line diagrams;
  • DC power distribution design;
  • Developing protective relay settings and calculations;
  • Supporting projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning;
  • Managing and reviewing engineering work performed by peers;
  • Bill of Materials;
  • Panel Layouts;
  • Participate in internal electrical reviews of electrical components, equipment and systems;
  • Works as a team member with other Engineers, Designers, and production personnel on ad hoc projects;
  • Works with Engineers to investigate and test vendors’ products.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications;
  • Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines;
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail;
  • Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction;
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training;
  • Related engineering internship or co-op work experience;
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models;
  • A BSEE from an ABET-accredited program is required and an emphasis in power systems preferred;
