Our company is looking for a Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with architects, owners and other engineering disciplines;
  • Performs Revit design for the mechanical discipline using knowledge of relevant software programs;
  • Performs field work as directed by a senior engineer/ designer;
  • Work as part of an MEP design team to provide mechanical (HVAC) engineering and design support on a variety of building projects;
  • Perform load calculations and energy modeling;
  • Collaborate in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications);
  • Conducts basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and other similar materials;
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff;
  • Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity;
  • Assists with collecting data and gathering information to support design decisions.

Requirements:

  • Related engineering internship or co-op work experience;
  • Energy conversion;
  • Turbomachinery;
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training;
  • Coursework in the following: Power engineering;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong interest in numerical computations and problem solving;
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) a plus;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Thermal systems;
  • Revit MEP/AutoCAD experience a plus;
  • Experience in writing and providing support documentation for Mechanical Engineering calculations;
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
