Our company is looking for a Systems Engineer 2 to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Input on the generation of system requirements based on system performance;
  • Preparation of components of control software for system operation and component testing;
  • Characterization of fluidic components, pathways and processes;
  • Optimization of the setup of all system components;
  • Participates in risk identification reviews;
  • Reflect requirements as user stories to support Agile development;
  • Support Agile teams to ensure effective end-to-end capability threads are being implemented;
  • Develop and execute systems level test cases/plans;
  • Balance sustaining and new product development projects;
  • Document Systems and functional Requirements and Design Architecture;
  • Baseline and potentially redesign CSM systems to meet modernization, integration and operation & maintenance requirements;
  • Demonstrates the ability to work within a project team;
  • Completes systems integration and software requirements;
  • Work closely with marketing and customers to define HVAC control systems;
  • Make decisions on tradeoffs in product design between hardware and software.

Requirements:

  • RF Engineering;
  • Enterprise Architect;
  • Familiarity with system development processes to include Agile, Lean, etc;
  • Rational System Architect;
  • Project management theory and understanding of the basic PMP principles;
  • Experience using engineering environments and tools that support Agile development, especially SAFe, such as JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, Confluence;
  • Experience in cloud based environments including deploying solutions on public/hybrid clouds;
  • Must have a current, active Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim may be considered. Preferred Qualifications;
  • Experience capturing user requirements and writing user statements;
  • Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration;
  • Experience with IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management;
  • Experience creating software development backlogs and release plans;
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 10 years’ experience;
  • Experience in developing and implementing machine learning and data analytics systems;
  • BS/MS Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
