Our company is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, development, technical review, and implementation of Sponsor’s specific IT/infrastructure systems needs;
  • Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining, and monitoring network security;
  • Achieve and report system uptime for critical servers or services;
  • Manage cloud networking services and connect to client networks;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Interacts with customers to meet specifications through meetings and Telecons;

Requirements:

  • Oversee the design, development, technical review, and implementation of Sponsor’s specific IT/infrastructure systems needs;
  • Familiarity with US Navy and military ship systems design and operation;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with innovation and ideation methods, such as design thinking;
  • Analyzes complex information and independently takes appropriate actions to resolve problems;
  • Demonstrates strong development, management and leadership skills with the ability to think independently;
  • 11 years of related work experience with sustained excellent performance;
  • Proficient in OS troubleshooting (e.g. Windows 8.1 & 10);
  • Experience with WPF;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Prepare documents such as plans, analyses, assessments, schedules, papers, metrics, guides, minutes, synopsis, reports, and briefings;
  • Participate in new development starting with requirements analysis and design;
  • Experience in the development of DoD Architectural Framework (DoDAF) products including Operational Views (OV) and Operational Sequence Diagrams;
  • Understanding and experience in Risk Management;
  • Understanding of the engineering life cycle to include requirements gathering, solutions design, testing, documentation, and implementation;
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve technical risks and issues.
