Our company is looking for a IT Systems Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies;
  • Consult with other business units (e.g. application groups, DBAs, middleware, etc.) to configure platforms for product installation;
  • Support our end users in leveraging technology to optimize their workflows;
  • Administer enterprise systems and company IT assets including: Application Servers, Databases, AWS Console, and end user devices;
  • Researching, evaluating, and recommending hardware and software solutions;
  • Understand technical/business requirements gathered from the business units;
  • Analyze, design, and document platforms/systems to meet enterprise requirements;
  • Assist in implementing releases, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment;
  • Implement changes to platforms with minimal impact to the business by following enterprise standards and procedures;
  • Provide on-site, and on-call 7x24x365 support, as needed;
  • Managing enterprise backup and recovery;
  • Document industry trends;
  • Monitor, manage, and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved;
  • Provide technical support, as needed, to the enterprise;
  • Engineering, configuration, installation, maintenance and monitoring of the network and data center infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work responsibly and independently and travel within the region;
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, organizational and analytical abilities;
  • Must be proficient in troubleshooting WAN/LAN/VPN issues;
  • VMware/Hyper-V technologies;
  • Good communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through;
  • Experience working with ATOs and RMF packages;
  • Must have a Secret Security Clearance;
  • Self-motived to explore and learn new technologies;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience providing end user technical support;
  • Strong customer service focus combined with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills;
  • Familiar with the latest technology and application tools;
  • Knowledge of PCs and MACs;
  • Solid knowledge of managing networks, Cloud and on-premise;
  • Work with customers to understand and refine their mission IT needs, translating those needs into requirements and specifications;
  • Engineer IT capabilities to meet these requirements, including analysis of alternatives and modification of existing systems.
