Systems Integration and Test Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document test methods, procedures, and results;
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures for testing self-driving vehicles;
- Collaborate with the engineering development and operations teams to verify and validate self driving car systems;
- Execute system level performance testing in accordance with generated test procedures;
- Generate test plans and procedures from a set of pre-defined system requirements;
- Apply the appropriate engineering skills to actively troubleshoot and repair non-conformances as they arise;
- Travel to customer site for installation of our systems upon testing completion;
- I nterface with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.
Requirements:
- Passionate about self-driving technologies;
- Experience in the design and/or validation of vehicle, robotics, or software development for safety critical systems;
- Good communication skills and attention to detail;
- 3+ years of professional work experience as an engineer;
- BS, MS, or PhD in an engineering field, computer science, or equivalent work experience;
- Based in MA with some travel to test locations (up to 30% travel);
- 5 years of experience with Linux and Software scripting languages, particularly Python;
- Development of Manufacturing Test Solutions for complex computing, storage and networking systems;
- Willing to travel;
- Ability to communicate clearly with Contract Manufacturers and peers in worldwide geographies;
- Development of manufacturing test software;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience;
- Experience generating product-specific test plans and executing test validation accordingly;
- Development of manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing and instrumentation.
