Systems Integration Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, analyze, recommend, configure, install, and test new network and infrastructure hardware and software;
- Coordinate and/or perform additions and changes to the Sponsors network hardware, platform services, attached devices, and operating systems;I;
- “Design-in”; necessary security controls/countermeasures and “engineer-out” known or potential system vulnerabilities;
- Partner with the different lines of businesses in the Sponsor’s organization; Develop and maintain network and IT infrastructure standards;
- Oversee the design, development, technical review, and implementation of Sponsor’s specific IT/infrastructure systems needs;
- Maintain a comprehensive and holistic system-view while addressing stakeholder security requirements;
- Optimize and manage our in-house Python-based systems integration platform;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Engine obtainment including identification, procurement, logistics, support systems, and fuels within the Commercial and Defense organizations;
- Review and understand customer and technology specification documents;
- Support manufacturing test API’s for R&S test equipment and specific wireless chipsets;
- Develops applicable procedures and practices as delineated in Test Operations Manual, PE Procedures, and Standard Procedures;
- Understanding customer needs and identifying how our products can provide technical solutions;
- Troubleshooting test case failures using logs from R&S and 3rd party tool;
- Interfacing with customer SMEs to provide technical feedback, resolve issues, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Qlik Sense;
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in developing end user visualization and reporting applications;
- Work independently and with end-users to identify and cleanse/correct source-system data issues;
- Expertise in SQL and set analysis scripting;
- Experience with Kafka or other real-time streaming systems;
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with predictive analytics and modeling;
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience as Business Intelligence development and deployment;
- Excellent communication skills, fun personality and a strong sense of curiosity;
- Solid programming skills and experience troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools;
- Experienced in J2EE, Java Servlets, JMS, EJB, Design Patterns, Web services and building integration projects using any integration tool;
- Experience with AWS is prefered (ec2, RedShift, EMR, s3) Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders;
- Experience with Middleware and/or SOA base implementations such as Mulesoft, Tibco or Snaplogic is desired;

- Good analysis capacity and sound judgment and problem solving skills;
- REST API development Experience is preferred.
