Our company is looking for a Systems Support Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business;
  • Complete and direct scheduled inventories;
  • Being on-call;
  • Review daily IT Tickets, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations;
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas;
  • Create and manage the Corporate approved IT budget;
  • Review status of assignments and any follow-up action with IT staff;
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment;
  • Provide a world class support to Belmond El Encanto employees and guests;
  • Access and understand all functions of the Belmond El Encanto network system;
  • Preventative maintenance of all IT related equipment, effectively identifying problems as they occur and taking the appropriate steps to solve them;
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction;
  • Work with users across the company via phone, IM, email, and video message to resolve issues;
  • Manage the technical onboarding process for new hires including equipment provisioning, account creation, and initial training;
  • Regularly monitor and report on end-user support SLAs.

Requirements:

  • Experience with virtualization platforms;
  • System / Application Knowledge Familiarity with software deployment tools including SCCM, LANdesk, or Chocolatey;
  • Understanding of and interest in the interaction of hardware and software;
  • Familiarity with management of backup systems;
  • Some education with strong practical experience would be considered;
